Spiritual and Emotional Care

The Bismarck Cancer Center has made a commitment to providing spiritual and emotional care as part of the Center’s mission and philosophy of healing. The spiritual and emotional care program strives to promote emotional awareness, provide personal insight, improve communication between patients and others, help patients and their families cope, provide a space for fun and laughter, and connect patients with pastoral, religious, or spiritual care if requested.

Anyone who wants this type of care can receive it at any time throughout treatment and beyond. It is open to individuals, family members, caregivers and support system. From diagnosis to long-term cancer survivors who are worried the cancer will come back to caregivers who need support, you can talk to a spiritual and emotional advisor about your concerns and how to cope with them.
