The Leadership Team at the Bismarck Cancer Center is made up of the Executive Director, Amy J. Gross and the managers from each division. This management team leads the Cancer Center employees, communicates goals, and drives the vision and mission for the clinic.

Amy, Executive Director

Started at Bismarck Cancer Center: 1997
Previous Experience: Altru Cancer Center (Grand Forks)
Education: University of Mary and radiation therapy program at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN)

Amy Gross began serving as the Executive Director of the Bismarck Cancer Center (BCC) in August 2016. She brings 20+ years of Radiation Oncology experience to this position beginning first as a Radiation Therapist followed by a lead therapist, manager and assistant director for BCC.

Amy received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck ND and went on to complete her Radiation Therapy training at the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences in Rochester MN.

Amy currently serves as a member of several oncology organizations including the North Dakota Cancer Coalition, NDANO, NDSRT, SROA, ACCC, ACE, and the MGMA. She also serves on the Sanford Bismarck and CHI St. Alexius Cancer Committees.

Her personal mission is to give back to others. She does this through volunteering at numerous Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation events throughout the year. In addition, Amy serves on the Brave the Shave Board and is an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Amy leverages her vast experience in innovative cancer technology along with her expertise in leadership to help identify long term strategies for the Bismarck Cancer Center. As Executive Director, Amy combines clinical knowledge and a passion for helping individuals on their cancer journey along with her commitment to ensuring the most comprehensive care as she leads the team of compassionate professionals at the Bismarck Cancer Center.

Mary, Administrative Support Specialist

Started at Bismarck Cancer Center: 2022
Previous Experience: Management at Famous Daves and Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse

Mary is passionate about making a difference in everything she does, and her work at the Cancer Center is no different. Her favorite BCC fundraising event is Bucks for Bras. She has attended and helped with this event for many, many years and says you’re able to feel and see the difference it makes to those impacted by Foundation services.

When she’s not at work, Mary enjoys camping, sledding, and reading with her two young boys.
