Hunting Dakota with Roosevelt

Established in 2008, Hunting Dakota with Roosevelt (HDwR) is an organization designed to meet three very specific goals. HDwR provides financial and holistic support to the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation, a non-profit 501- C-3 charity, to further the fight against cancer at the local level. HDwR also honors members of the United States Armed Forces who sacrifice themselves daily to protect and preserve the way of life that we all cherish. In addition, the committee and attendees strive to follow the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation by conducting a “fair chase” hunt, recognizing and honoring hunter/landowner relationships and paying tribute to the conservation ideas and principles founded by former president Theodore Roosevelt.
