The Bismarck Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Dosimetrist. Successful applicants will be responsible for generating individual treatment plans for external beam including IMRT, SBRT and SRS, as well as HDR under the guidance of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. Other duties include preparing all technical documentation required for treatment set up and record completion, performing CT simulations, reviewing patient treatment records for weekly checks, participation in department meetings, peer review/chart rounds sessions, and reviewing weekly billing reports.
Equipment: Pinnacle –16.2 (Auto-planning, Dynamic planning, Contouring Auto-segmentation); Monoco (commission May 2021); Mosaiq; Oncentra; MIM; Elekta Infinity, Synergy (upgrade to Versa HD fall 2021), & new Versa HD (commission summer 2021) (all Agility MLC, beam matched); 2 Philips Big Bore CT (1-new commission fall 2021).
Certification in medical dosimetry is required.
ARRT registration in radiation therapy preferred.
CPR certification must be completed within six weeks of employment and recertified as required.
Minimum of two years in radiation therapy preferred.
Experience working with Pinnacle and/or Monoco; other treatment experience will be considered.
