Applefest is back! The 15th annual fall event will kick off Saturday, September 25 and 26, at the charming, historic Buckstop Junction in south Bismarck.

The event signifies the beginning of fall in North Dakota and is a celebration of the autumn harvest and North Dakota heritage. You can stroll through the historic buildings and listen to great local music playing throughout the day. Shop arts and crafts, the silent auction and sample local cuisine at various food booths. There will be baked goods for sale, fresh-squeezed apple cider, and fun family activities. The music and entertainment lineup will include Cottonwood, Legacy Jazz Choirs, Prairie Road, the Minneapolis-based Johnny Cash tribute band ‘Church of Cash’, along with Mylo Hatzenbuhler as the entertainment host. There will also be an area especially for the kids, including games, a petting zoo, inflatables, and barrel train rides. All these and much more make Applefest unquestionably one of the best fall events in North Dakota!

The cost to attend Applefest is $5 for all ages and kids three and under are free. Parking will be near the Burleigh County 4-H Building with hayrides and bussing available. All proceeds from Applefest benefit the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation, which allows the Bismarck Cancer Center to offer an array of complimentary services, including transportation and lodging assistance, spiritual counseling, support groups, nutritional care, survivorship care plans, massage, and physical therapy.

“We are so proud of Applefest and the support it provides for local cancer patients,” said
