Dr. Robert Reynolds
Dr. Robert Reynolds, MD
Radiation Oncologist Medical Director
Dr. Robert Reynolds has been with the Bismarck Cancer Center since May 2018 and is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. A Texas native, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Reynolds is an active member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Board for Radiology.
Dr. Reynolds treats all types of cancer. He has also published research in areas such as head and neck, cervical, and rectal cancers.
Dr. Cole Kreofsky
Dr. Cole Kreofsky, MD
Radiation Oncologist Research Director
Dr. Cole Kreofsky joined the Bismarck Cancer Center in July 2017. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency in radiation oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Kreofsky treats all types of cancer. He is an active member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the American Brachytherapy Society. He has published and presented research in areas such as prostate brachytherapy, head and neck, brain and central nervous system cancers.
Dr. Joon Lee
Dr. Joon Lee, MD
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Joon K. Lee joined the Bismarck Cancer Center in June 2025. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his residency in radiation oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to joining BCC, Dr. Lee practiced at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington, and Trinity Health in Minot, North Dakota. He also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Lee is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish. He is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Tanner Stavn, DNP
Specialty: Doctor of Nursing Practice
Profile: Tanner will focus on providing essential follow-up care for individuals who have completed their cancer treatments. This type of care is crucial for monitoring patients’ health and detecting any potential problems that may arise months or even years after treatment.
School: Tanner holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Mary and an undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University. His background includes valuable experience at CHI St. Alexius, where he served in both the medical/neuro unit and the interventional radiology department. His diverse experience allows him to provide high-quality, personalized care to the Bismarck Cancer Center’s patients.

Barbara Hoffer, FNP-BC, NP-C
Specialty: Doctor of Nursing Practice
Profile: Barbara Hoffer, FNP-BC, NP-C, CNOR, joined the Bismarck Cancer Center with extensive experience as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse across multiple specialties. She brings more than two decades of nursing experience, including roles in plastic and reconstructive surgery, pain management, and perioperative care.
School: Barb earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Medcenter One College of Nursing and completed her undergraduate studies at Bismarck State College. She is board certified through both the AANP and ANCC.
