June – Cancer Survivorship Month

June is Cancer Survivorship Month – a time to honor those who have faced cancer and are now navigating life after treatment. Survivorship is about more than being cancer-free—it’s about healing, adjusting, and thriving in a new chapter of life.

What is Cancer Survivorship?

It begins the moment of diagnosis and continues through treatment and beyond. Survivors often face ongoing physical, emotional, and social challenges—such as fatigue, fear of recurrence, or changes in relationships.

How to Thrive After Treatment:

  • Keep up with follow-up care
  • Focus on your health with nutrition, exercise, and sleep
  • Seek emotional support through therapy or support groups
  • Set personal goals and celebrate your progress
